PLATE AS 3727563 - Caterpillar

Install five 6EL5945 Fitting-Flared (11) into 6EL5944 Valve-Brake Treadle (10) .
Install two 8M-0547 Elbows (12) on two 6EL5945 Fitting-Flared (11). Refer to Illustration 6.
Install the following items to the cab: 8T-4224 Hard Washers (6), 4M-6425 Bolts (7), 101-2465 Bolts (8), 6EL6544 Base Bracket (9) and 6EL5944 Valve-Brake Treadle (10) .

Install 0DE4310 Hose As (13) between 6EL5944 Valve-Brake Treadle (10) and supply manifold (15) as shown.
Install 0DE3936 Hose As (14) between 6EL5944 Valve-Brake Treadle (10) and supply manifold (15) as shown.

Remove the 030-8276 Flared Elbow from return manifold (16). Install 3J-1907 O-Ring Seal (17), and 9S-4191 Plug (18) .
Install 0DE4310 Hose As (13) between 6EL5944 Valve-Brake Treadle (10) and tank return manifold (16) as shown.

Install 0DE5156 Hose As (19) between 6EL5944 Valve-Brake Treadle (10) and rear service brake shuttle valve (21) .
Install 0DE2605 Hose As (20) between 6EL5944 Valve-Brake Treadle (10) and front service brake shuttle valve (22) .

Install 6DE3925 Treadle (3), 2D-6006 Pin (23), and 3B-4607 Cotter Pin (24) .
Install 033-3044 Eyebolt (28) to the modified spring mounting plate.
Install 7G-6942 Spring (27) .
Install 6F-7030 Bolt (25) and 2A-5351 Jam Nut (26) .

Adjust the brake treadle. Refer to Illustration 11.
Purge the air from the braking system. Refer to Systems Operation Testing and Adjusting, "Braking System Air - Purge" for the machine that is being serviced.

View of the service brake pressure setting adjustment (25) 6F-7030 Bolt (26) 2A-5351 Jam Nut
Loosen 2A-5351 Jam Nut (26). Adjust the height of 6F-7030 Bolt (25) to achieve a brake pressure setting of 5850 345 kPa (850 50 psi). Tighten 2A-5351 Jam Nut (26) .
