Visually inspect Transmission Solenoid F2, Rear Main harness and connectors ("C175" and "C001") for frayed wires, pulled connector terminals, broken or damaged parts. Expected Result: There is damaged parts or broken parts.

Enter Mode 7 at the Electronic Monitoring Center (EMC). Select and turn ON identification number P351 (Transmission Solenoid F2). Expected Result: The solenoid is magnetized.
YES, go to Step 4.
NO, go to Step 3.
Disconnect connector "C001" at Chassis Control Module (CCM). Check for short circuit in Rear Main harness from connector "C001-T" to chassis ground. Expected Result: There is a short in the circuit.
YES, locate and repair short circuit in Rear Main harness. Check fault code and if no longer active the repair is complete.
NO, go to Step 8.
Turn OFF P351.Expected Result: The solenoid is de-energized.
YES, go to Step 5.
NO, go to Step 8.
Disconnect connector "C175" and measure resistance across terminals A and B of solenoid. Expected Result: The resistance measures between 1.6 and 1.9 ohms.
YES, go to Step 6.
NO, replace Transmission Solenoid F2 and recheck fault codes. If fault code is not active, repair is complete.
Check for short circuit to the transmission case from terminals A or B of the solenoid. Expected Result: There is a short in the circuit.
YES, replace Transmission Solenoid F2 and recheck fault codes. If fault code is not active, repair is complete.

Check for short circuit in Rear Main harness. Measure from connector "C001-T" or connector "C175-A" to chassis ground. Expected Result: There is a short in the circuit.

Replace the Chassis Control Module (CCM). Expected Result: The fault code is active.
YES, install the original CCM and repeat this troubleshooting procedure.
NO, go to Step 10.
Install the original CCM. Expected Result: The fault code is active.
