Application of Lubricant on Bearing Sleeve
Install a 1U-6341 Threaded Rod (3) into the bearing sleeve (2). Refer to Illustration 3. Note: There are four equally spaced holes that are in the bearing sleeve that are used in order to assemble the sleeve to the rotor. The threaded rod (3) is to be placed in the fifth threaded hole that is in between two of the equally spaced holes.Note: Ensure that the O-ring (4) is correctly installed.

Install a 138-7575 Link Bracket (5) and a suitable lifting device (7) in order to support the end bracket (6).

Align the hole that is in the end bracket (6) to the 1U-6341 Threaded Rod (3). Refer to Illustration 5. Note: Apply a light coating of grease to the surface of the end bracket, where the bearing seats inside of the end bracket, prior to the installation of the end bracket.
Slide the end bracket (6) into the correct position to be attached to the main stator housing and the bearing sleeve.

Thread the bolts (7) into the bearing sleeve. Note: Do not tighten the bolts yet.

Remove the threaded guide rod (3). Install the last bolt (8). Note: Do not tighten the bolt yet.

Install all of the mounting bolts (10) that assemble the end bracket to the main stator housing.

Evenly tighten all of the mounting bolts for the end bracket (10) in a crisscross pattern until all of the mounting bolts for the end bracket are properly torqued. The crisscross pattern will allow the end bracket to be pulled down evenly.
Torque the five mounting bolts (7) and (8) that assemble the bearing to the end bracket.
Move the bus bar assembly (12) into position in order to be assembled to the end bracket (14). Install the mounting bolts (13) that are for the bus bar assembly (12). Note: Ensure that there is sufficient clearance between the generator power leads and the stator shell. Ensure that the generator power leads are not rubbing against the stator shell.

Remove the protective strips that was placed between the main rotor and the main stator.
Install the PMG components if required.
Install the control panel. Note: Ensure that there is sufficient clearance between the generator power leads and the stator shell. Ensure that the generator power leads are not rubbing against the stator shell.1600 and the 1800 Frame End Bracket Installation
Start By:
Ensure that the main rotor assembly has been properly installed.
Ensure that the high density protective plastic strips are in place in order to protect the rotor and the stator and in order to assist in centering the rotor.
Ensure that the rotating leads are secured to the main rotor in order to prevent damage to the leads as the end bracket is installed.
Ensure that the bearing has been properly installed. Note: The end bracket can be removed and installed independent of the rotor removal.
Install the bearing sleeve in to the bearing bracket cavity. Lightly lubricate the sleeve
