Remove two bolts (9) and two clips (10) from the lines under the lift arm assembly.
Repeat step 5 for the opposite side of the lift arm assembly.

Remove two bolts (11), two clips (12), and the line assemblies from the underside of the lift arm assembly.

Use a suitable lifting device to support the lift arms.

Remove bolt (13) and pin assembly (14) from both sides of the lift arm assembly.
Remove the lift arm assembly from the machine. The weight of the lift arm assembly is 322 kg (710 lb).Removal Procedure for the 252 and the 262
Attach a suitable lifting device to the lift arm assembly. The weight of the lift arm assembly is 442 kg (975 lb).

Remove snap ring (1). Remove pin (2) .
Repeat step 2 for the opposite side.
Tilt the cab. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab - Tilt".

Disconnect line (3) and line (4) .
Repeat step 5 for the opposite side.

Remove bolts (5) and washers. Remove hose clamps (6) .
Repeat step 7 for the opposite side.

Remove snap ring (7). Remove pin (8) .
Repeat step 9 for the opposite side.Note: Support link arm assembly when the second pin is removed. Lay the link assembly against the frame. Take notice of the location of shims that are removed for installation purposes.
Raise the lift arm assembly in order to gain access to the inside of the lower link assembly.

Remove hex head bolt (9) and the washer.

Remove bolt (11) and the washer. Remove pin (12) .
Repeat steps 12 and 13 for the opposite side.Note: Take notice of the location of the shims that are removed for installation purposes. Use caution when you are removing pin (12). The inside link arm will drop when the pin is removed. The inside link arm weighs 23 kg (50 lb).
Remove the lift arm assembly. The lift arm assembly weighs 442 kg (975 lb).

Remove bolts (13) and washers. Remove hose clamps (14) .
Repeat step 16 for the opposite side.
Attach a suitable lifting device to the rear link assembly.

Remove bolt (15) and the washer. Remove pin (16) .
Repeat step 19 for the opposite side.
Remove the rear link assembly. The rear link assembly weighs 75 kg (165 lb).
