Make sure that the O-ring seal is installed in the bottom of quick-drop valve (12). Put clean hydraulic oil on the O-ring seal. Position quick-drop valve (12) on the lift cylinder and install bolts (13) in order to hold the unit together. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 160 5 N m (118 4 lb ft).

Make sure that the seals for tube assembly (10) are installed. Put clean hydraulic oil on the seals. Install the bracket, the clip, and tube assembly (10) on the lift cylinder.
Heat bearings (11) to a maximum temperature of 135 °C (275 °F) and install the bearings on each side of the lift cylinder trunnion. The bearings must not extend beyond the ends of the trunnion after installation. The outside diameter must be 101.316 0.071 mm (3.9888 0.0028 inch) after assembly.

Use a press and Tooling (A) to install bearings in caps (9). The inside diameter of the bearing must be 101.499 0.101 mm (3.9960 0.0040 inch) after the bearing is installed.

Fill bearings (9) with Tooling (C). Install bearings (9) on the lift cylinder trunnion.

Fasten Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to the lift cylinder and position the cylinder on the mounts. Install the bolts in order to hold bearings (9) in place. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 620 80 N m (460 60 lb ft).

Make sure that the O-ring seals are installed in the ends of the hose assemblies. Put clean hydraulic oil on the seals. Connect hose assemblies (6) and (7) to the correct location on the quick-drop valve.

Position mounting bracket (3) on the lift cylinder and install four bolts (4) .
Connect wire connector (5) and install the bolts and clips that hold the wires.

Install pin (1), bolt (2), and the retainer.
