Use two persons and install fan drive assembly (1) from the engine. The weight of the fan drive assembly is approximately 39 kg (85 lb). Install bolts (2) and nuts loosely.
Install three belts (5) on fan drive assembly (1). Turn tension bolt (3) and apply 110 N (25 lb) of force to the belts. The force must be applied midway between the pulleys. If the belts are properly adjusted, the belts will deflect 10 to 15 mm (.4 to .6 inch). Tighten bolts (2) and nuts (4) .
Fill the fan drive assembly with Tooling (A) .End By: Install the fan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan - Remove and Install".
