When the controller detects a failure, the controller will signal the specific code with the Status LED (red) and the Mode LED (yellow). When an error is NOT present, the Status LED (red) is OFF and the mode LED (yellow) will blink at a 0.5 Hz rate. If an application software is NOT loaded in the controller, the Status LED (red) is off and the Mode LED (yellow) blinks at a 10 Hz rate. All other errors (codes that are specific to the application) are decoded by observing blinking codes that are generated by the red and yellow indicators.

Error    If the mode LED (yellow) blinks at a steady 0.5 Hz rate and the Status LED (red) is blinking, the cause of the fault can be decoded from the Status LED (red) alone. The Status LED (red) will flash a four bit sequence that is followed by a pause. Then, the four bit sequence will be repeated. The sequence is followed by another pause. This cycle will continue to repeat. The long flash is represented by a "-", the long flash lasts approximately one second. The short flash is represented by a "*", the short flash lasts approximately one-half second. The pause between the four bit sequence lasts approximately 3.5 seconds. If more than one code exists, each code will be displayed in sequence before being repeated.Note: The codes for 2 and 3 are always present. The codes are not a fault condition. The codes will flash continuously on the display.
