Remove bolts (1) and (2). Remove panel (3) .

Open the access panel and turn off fuel supply valve (4) .

Disconnect throttle linkage (5). Remove clamp (6). Disconnect tube assembly (7). Disconnect hoses (8) .

Disconnect clamps (9) and (10). Remove bolts (11) and (12) .

Remove clamps (13) that hold tube assemblies (14) to the engine. Disconnect tube assemblies (14) that are routed from the fuel injection pump to the engine and remove tube assemblies (14) .

Remove cover (15). Remove pipe plug (16) .

Rotate the engine until Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) can be installed at the same time.
Remove the belt for the refrigerant compressor. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".

The fan and the fan drive have been removed for clarity.
Remove bolts (18). Place bracket (17) and the refrigerant compressor to the side. Remove nuts (20) and cover (19) .

Use Tooling (C) in order to loosen gear (22) from the input shaft of the fuel injection pump.

Attach a suitable lifting device to fuel injection pump (17). The weight of fuel injection pump (17) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb).
Remove bolts (18). Remove fuel injection pump (17) .
