Note: Compare the FLS and the FTS from the ECM with the values that are listed on the Engine Information Plate. The FLS and the FTS should only be changed because of a mechanical change in the engine. The use of the wrong parameters could cause damage to the engine. The Programmable Monitoring System determines the level of action that is taken by the ECM in response to a condition that can damage the engine. The monitoring of the various sensors by the ECM can be "Enabled" or "Disabled". These conditions are identified by the ECM from the signals that are produced from the following sensors.

( 2 ) The time delay on the ET screen for the programmable monitoring system will be represented as zero "0". This is necessary because ET cannot display decimal numbers such as 0.6.
