Start By:a. remove main hydraulic pump and coupling The 3066 Diesel Engine flywheel in the 320 Excavator may not be exactly as shown in the photos, but the Remove & Install procedure will be similar. 1. Remove twelve bolts (1) and washers.2. Remove adapter (2). 3. Remove four socket head bolts (3).4. Remove inner ring (4). 5. Remove six bolts (5). When installing, tighten the flywheel bolts to a torque of 83 5 N m (61.5 3.5 lb ft). Check all bolts for stripped threads. Replace if necessary. 6. Install tool (A) and suitable lifting device as shown.7. Use tool (B) to force flywheel (6) and ring gear out of the housing. The weight of the flywheel and ring gear is 200 kg (90 lb). Refer to Specifications Manual, Form No. SENR5545 for measuring face run out of the flywheel and ring gear before installation.
