Place window (2) in position on the right wall inside the cab and align the mounting holes. Place window (3) in position on the left wall inside the cab and align the mounting holes. See Illustration 2.
Lower the cab.Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lowering the Cab" for the machine that is being serviced.
Install seven screws (7) in order to secure each window. See Illustration 3.
Install plate (1) if the 152-4880 Cab Air Filter is not being installed. Use studs (4), hard washers (6), and nuts (5) to install plate (1). Note: Press fit studs (4) from the inside of the cab.
Reposition armrest (8) inside the cab.
Install four nuts (9) and four hard washers (10) to secure armrest (8) .
Reconnect connector plug (11) to the harness connector receptacle.
Raise the cab in order to check the capability of the gas spring (gas springs) to handle the additional weight of the cab windows. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Raising the Cab".
Change the configuration of the gas spring (gas springs), if necessary.Selecting Gas Springs

Location of Gas Spring (12) The addition of the 183-7138 Cab Windows (Side) will increase the weight of the cab. The gas spring may not be sufficient for the additional weight. If this is the case, it will be necessary to change the configuration of the gas spring (gas springs). See Illustration 4.Use Table 2 in order to determine the sum of the weight factors for your machine. Then use Table 3 in order to identify the gas spring option that corresponds to your machine's weight factors.
