Equalizer barThe standard seal with a single passage for lubrication is shown in view (B-B#1) .The limited slip seal with cross passages for lubrication is shown in view (B-B#2) . (1) Equalizer bar (2) Track roller frame (3) Seals (4) Pin (5) Spherical bearing (6) Lip seals (7) Spacer (8) PinThe track roller frames are connected at the front by equalizer bar (1). Equalizer bar (1) is a solid steel piece.Equalizer bar (1) keeps the roller frames in a constant position relative to the machine frame. The equalizer bar also keeps the roller frames in a constant position relative to each other.Sealed, lubricated pins (4) are installed in each end of equalizer bar (1). Pins (4) connect the equalizer bar to track roller frames (2). The equalizer bar is connected to the machine frame by pin (8). Equalizer bar (1) pivots on pin (8) .Spherical bearing (5) is installed in each end of the equalizer bar. Seals (3) prevent foreign material from contacting the bearings. Limited slip seals and cross passages for lubrication extend the service life of bearings and pins in severe applications. See Illustration 1.Lip seals (6) prevent foreign material from contacting the bearing in the center of equalizer bar (1).
