Install filler cap assembly (33) on the hydraulic tank.

Install tube assemblies (32), the O-ring seals, and bolts (31).

Install spring (29) and valve (28) in filter base (22). Install O-ring seal (30) on cover (26).

Personal injury can result from parts and/or covers under spring pressure.Spring force will be released when covers are removed.Be prepared to hold spring loaded covers as the bolts are loosened.
Install cover (26) and bolts (27).

Install studs (24) in filter base (22). Tighten studs (24) to a torque of 108 14 N m (80 10 lb ft).
Install O-ring seals (25) to filter base (22).

Apply Tooling (C) to the sealing surface of the baffle assembly. To complete the seal, overlap the ends of the sealant in a crisscross manner.
Install baffle assembly (20) and bolts (21).

Install O-ring seals (17), grommet (18), and sight glass (19) on retainer (16).

Install retainer (16) and bolts (15). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 5 N m (22 4 lb ft).

Typical Example
Remove the used sealant from the sealing surface of the hydraulic tank. Thoroughly clean the sealing surface before you install new sealant.
Apply Tooling (C) to the sealing surface of the hydraulic tank. To complete the seal, overlap the ends of the sealant in a crisscross manner.

Install Tooling (B) to the tank half, as shown.
Connect the two halves of the hydraulic tank. Install bolts (13), the washers, and locknuts (14). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 47 9 N m (35 6 lb ft).

Install oil level sensor (9) and oil temperature sensor (10).
Install harness assembly (7) and bolts (6). Connect harness assembly (8).
Install hose assembly (5).

Install plate (4) and bolts (1).
