When the bearings are installed in support (1), push on the end of the bearings that have identification.
Use Tooling (A) to install the bearings in support (1) .

Put the springs (3) and pedal (2) in position on the support.

Put lever (5) in position in the support and install shaft (4) .

Install key (6) in the shaft. Turn shaft (4) and slide lever (5) into position over the key. To hold the lever tightly on the shaft, install the bolt in lever (5) .

Engage the hooks on springs (3) over pedal (2). Install bolts (7) through springs (3) and into the support.

Turn pedal (2) against the spring force and install the bolt that holds shaft (4) to pedal (2) .

Connect the rod and rod end (8) to the lever.End By: Install the speed/brake control. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Speed-Brake Control - Install".
