Paint the top cap portion of the 168-3443 Relief Valve Gp to prevent rusting. Mask off the internal section of the valve to protect from overspray. Allow time for the cap to dry. Reinstall the cap onto the relief valve.
Remove the 168-3437 Relief Valve Gp and install the 168-3443 Relief Valve Gp (1) .Torque the relief valve to 100 20 N m (74.0 15.0 lb ft).

(B) Pressure Gauge (C) 307-1696 Piston Pump Gp
Install the pressure gauge (B) into port M1 of the Piston Pump Gp (C) .
Adjust the feed reducer valve as follows:

(1) 168-3443 Relief Valve Gp (D) Cap for the Relief Valve Gp (E) 381-1522 Control Valve Gp (F) Feed reducing adjustment
Remove the cap from the feed reducing adjustment (F) .
Start the engine and run at high idle
Cycle the implements while running the machine at high idle. Warm the hydraulic oil to normal operating temperature. (50° 5°C (122° 9°F))

(E) 381-1522 Control Valve Gp (F) Feed reducing adjustment
Loosen the jam nut on the boom up feed reducer. While the operator booms up by pulling the right joystick control back, and adjust the boom up feed reducer (1) to 25000 300 kPa (3626 44 psi). Retighten the jam nut on the feed reducer.
Reinstall the cap
