Removal Procedure
Open the engine access door.
Release the latch on the radiator. Raise the radiator. This will allow access to the muffler.Note: Do not attempt to service the muffler until the engine is cool to the touch.

Remove three bolts (1) and the gasket.Note: The gasket may be attached to the exhaust manifold.
Disconnect exhaust elbow (2) from exhaust manifold (3) .

Remove four bolts (4). Remove muffler (5) from the machine.

Remove clamp (6). Separate exhaust elbow (2) from muffler (5) .Installation Procedure

Install clamp (6) in order to secure exhaust elbow (2) to muffler (5) .

Place muffler (5) in position. Install four bolts (4) in order to secure muffler (5) to the machine.

Align exhaust elbow (2) to exhaust manifold (3). Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to three bolts (1). Install the new gasket and three bolts (1) in order to secure exhaust elbow (2) to the exhaust manifold (3) .
Start the engine and check for exhaust leaks.
Turn the engine to the OFF position. Lower the radiator and lock the radiator into position.
Close the engine access door.
