1. Dip secondary piston parts in clean brake fluid, and assemble secondary piston as shown.2. Then dip secondary piston assembly in clean brake fluid, and guide the assembly, spring end first, into cylinder bore. Use a dull scribe to ease cups into bore, and be careful to avoid damage to cups.3. Dip primary piston assembly in clean brake fluid, and insert into cylinder bore in same manner.4. Hold primary piston in bore, and assemble snap ring in groove near end of bore. Assemble piston stop bolt in threaded hole in bottom of master cylinder.5. Manual Brake Master Cylinders - Assemble dust boot on push rod. Then assemble push rod retainer in groove near end of rod. Insert push rod in primary piston, and push in until retainer snaps into place. Seat boot on master cylinder hub.
Be sure that push rod is fully seated in primary piston.
