Connect anti-pivot link (1) to the main frames of the machine before the machine is lifted.
1. Put tooling (A) in position under the rear axle housing as shown. Lift the rear of the machine with tooling (A) to a height of approximately 38 in. (96.5 cm). 2. Put tooling (B) in position under the rear of the machine as shown. Use tooling (A) to lower the machine until the weight of the machine is on tooling (B).3. Put a wood block between the rear axle housing and frame to hold the axle housing in position when the tire and rim are removed. 4. Fasten a hoist to the tire and rim. Remove nuts (2) and washers that hold the tire and rim in position. Remove tire and rim (3). The weight of the tire and rim is 1350 lb. (608 kg).Install Rear Tires And Rims (824C)
1. Fasten a hoist to the tire and rim. Put tire and rim (1) in position on the wheel assembly.2. Install the washers and nuts that hold the tire and rim. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 550 60 lb.ft. (750 80 N m). 3. Lift the rear of the machine with tooling (A). Remove tooling (B) from under the rear of the machine. Remove the wood block from between the axle housing and frame. 4. Lower the machine to the ground with tooling (A). Remove tooling (A) from under the machine.
