Investigate the travel route for overpass clearances. Make sure there will be adequate clearance if the machine being transported is equipped with a ROPS, cab or canopy.To prevent the machine from slipping while loading, or shifting in transit, remove ice, snow or other slippery material from the loading dock and the truck bed before loading.
Obey all state and local laws governing the weight, width and length of a load.Observe all regulations governing wide loads.
1. Block the trailer or rail car wheels before loading (trailer shown).2. After the machine is in position, remove the steering frame lock pin (1) and install into the hole (2) to hold the front and rear frames rigid.3. Move the direction control lever to the STOP position.4. Engage the parking brake.5. Stop the engine.6. Turn the start key switch to OFF and remove the key.7. Secure the machine with tie-downs when transporting on a rail car or a tractor-trailer.Machine Roading

CB-434 Weight (without cab) is 6068 kg (13,350 lb).CB-434 Weight (with cab, full fuel tank and half water tanks) is 7228 kg (15,900 lb).2. Use proper rated cables and slings for lifting. Position crane for level machine lift.3. Spreader bar widths should be sufficient to prevent contact with machine.4. Block front of front drum and rear drum at points (A).5. Support drum yoke on each side with 2.5 cm × 15.2 cm × 25.4 cm (1" × 6" × 10") blocks at points (B).6.
