1 2 - Before assembly, apply a thin coat of 2P-2333 High Temperature Sealer to the outside diameter of the male end of the exhaust manifold. Remove excess high temperature sealer from the assembled joint.
2 2 9N-5085 Clamp Torque the clamp nuts to 7.5 1.0 N m (66.4 8.9 lb in).
3 4 245-9750 Taperlock Stud Torque to 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft).
4 6 161-3411 Gasket Install the gaskets for the exhaust manifold with the tabs toward the cylinder block.

5 12 9X-6620 Locknut Before assembly, lubricate the threads and bearing surfaces of the locknuts with Loctite C5A copper anti-seize.
Tighten the locknut in the numerical sequence as shown in the Illustration 3 to 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft).
6 12 116-3715 Taperlock Stud Torque to 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft).
