The cam levers and spring assemblies are controlled by the steering levers and the brake pedal. The levers and the pedal are in the operator compartment. Correct adjustment ensures precise response and full operation of the control valve spools.Check Preparation
Move the machine to a flat open area.
Lower all implements to the ground.
Stop the engine. Check Procedure
The cam levers and spring assemblies are located inside the control valve for the brake and the clutch. Check for free play or preload between the roller (1) and the plunger (7).Adjustment Procedure
Note: This adjustment should be made before any system pressures are adjusted.

Cam Lever and Spring Assembly
Remove cover (2) that is located on the end of the steering clutch and brake control valve.
Move cam lever (6) until roller (1) is in contact with plunger (7). Do not depress plunger (7).
Move spring assembly (5) until the pin of the spring assembly is in the front detent of the cam lever (6).
Tighten bolt (4) to a torque of 48 7 N m (35 5 lb ft).
Repeat the above steps for the remaining cam lever and spring assembly.
Install cover (2) and tighten the bolts (8) to a torque of 48 7 N m (35 5 lb ft). Note: After adjustment bolt (4) is tightened, the roller (1) will be in contact with plunger (7).
