Remove the flywheel and rear gear group.
Remove the electric starter motor.

Attach a suitable lifting device to engine (1). The weight of engine (1) is approximately 1089 kg (2400 lb). Use the suitable lifting device to position engine (1) onto Tooling (A) .

Remove bolts (2), retainer (3), and gear assembly (4). Repeat for gear assembly (5) .
Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to flywheel housing (7). The weight of flywheel housing (7) is approximately 113 kg (250 lb).
Remove bolts (6) and flywheel housing (7) .Installation Procedure
Install flywheel housing (7) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (C) to the mounting surface of flywheel housing (7) .
