Introduction
This Special Instruction will provide the necessary steps to install a new flasher on certain Vibratory Utility Compactors.The new flasher and wire assembly are adaptable to the following Vibratory Utility Compactors:
CB14 (S/N: DST1-UP)
CB14 (S/N: DTT1-624)The new flasher and wire assembly are effective in production to the following Vibratory Utility Compactors:

Remove the nine screws that secure panel (1) to the platform.

Lay panel (1) against the seat.

The new 356-7266 Wire As (2), terminal (3), and terminal (4) .

Remove 236-6904 Flasher As (5) from relay base (6) .

Install terminal blade (4) of wire assembly (2) into terminal "5" of relay base (6) .Note: Removal of relay base (6) from panel (1) may be necessary to install terminal blade (4) into terminal "5".

Disconnect connector (8) from rocker switch (7) on panel (1) .

Wire (9) has already been installed into terminal "10" (B) .
Remove wire (9) from terminal "8" (A) of connector (8) .
Install wire (9) to open terminal "10" (B) of connector (8) .

Install terminal (3) of wire assembly (2) into terminal "8" of connector (8) .

Install connector (8) into rocker switch (7) .
Install the new 356-7265 Flasher As (10) .
Use cable straps to secure the new 356-7266 Wire As (2) to the existing harness on panel (1) .
Install panel (1) and the nine screws. Tighten the nine screws to a torque of 12 3 N m (106 27 lb in).
