ACTION REQUIRED
Replace the failed NRS cooler with new NRS cooler design following instructions outlined in Service Magazine, M0081814, "A New NOx Reduction System Cooler Group Is Now Used on All C9.3 Tier 4 Final Machine Engines".
For additional system checks that may be required, reference Special Instruction, M0069778, "System Check after an NOx Reduction System (NRS) Cooler Failure for C9.3 through C18 Tier 4 Engines".
Refer to Special Instruction, M0070968, "Coolant Drain and Vacuum Fill Procedure For Certain C9.3 Through C18 Tier 4 Engines", for proper coolant drain and fill procedure.
Pressure test the coolant system to verify no leaks are present using the "Testing the Radiator and Cooling System for Leaks" procedure in UENR3402 prior to starting machine once the rework is completed.
