Installation Procedure
Note: Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary. Lubricate all of the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed. Clean all of the components with a cloth that is free of loose material (lint).

Position front slack adjuster (1) on the frame assembly, as shown. The weight of the front slack adjuster is 18 kg (40 lb). Install two bolts (2) and the hard washers that hold front slack adjuster (1) to the frame assembly.
Connect hose assembly (3), hose assembly (4), and hose assembly (5) to front slack adjuster (1).
Purge the air from the brake system. Refer to Air System and Brakes System Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "Brake System Air - Purge".
