Rework Procedure
This procedure can be used on all Series G Small Track-Type Tractors.

Remove the right angle cylinder and the left angle cylinder from the machine.

Install the 7X-0492 Elbow (1) .
Mark the location of the 259-0461 Plate (2). Allow space for the installation of 7X-0492 Elbow (1) and removal of the Elbow .
Remove the 7X-0492 Elbow (1) and weld the 259-0461 Plate (2) in place.

Reinstall the 7X-0492 Elbow (1).

Connect the 259-0458 Hose As (3) to the 7X-0492 Elbow (1) on the cylinder.

Modify the existing 217-0556 Plate As .
Add a 25 mm (0.98 inch) hole on the outboard side of each plate.

Weld 259-0462 Block (2) to the plate.

Connect one end of the grease line to the 259-0462 Block that is welded to the cylinder guard.
Connect the 4M-8973 Elbow and the 3B-8489 Grease Fitting to the other side of the 259-0462 Block .

Reattach the guards to the cylinders and tighten the bolts.
Reinstall the angle cylinders.
