Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
Follow the recommended procedure for removal and installation of tires and or wheel assemblies.Ensure that the machine and tire and or wheel assembly are properly supported at all times.Improper procedures that are used to remove and install tires and or wheel assemblies can result in personal injury or death.

Position Tooling (A) under the machine, as shown.
Position suitable stands under the machine, as shown.
Use Tooling (A) in order to raise tire and rim assembly (2) off the ground.

Attach a suitable hoist and lifting slings to tire and rim assembly (2) .
Remove all nuts (1) and the washers.
Use the hoist in order to remove tire and rim assembly (2). The weight of tire and rim assembly (2) is 2724 kg (6000 lb).Installation Procedure

Attach a suitable hoist and lifting slings to tire and rim assembly (2), as shown.
Use the hoist in order to install tire and rim assembly (2). The weight of tire and rim assembly (2) is 2724 kg (6000 lb).
Install all nuts (1) and the washers. Tighten nuts (1) to a torque of 900 100 N m (660 75 lb ft).
Use Tooling (A) in order to lower the machine to the ground.
Remove Tooling (A) .End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
