1. The engine speed sensor is located behind left hand door assemblies (1) and (2). 2. Disconnect wire harness (3) at the electrical connection.3. Remove engine speed sensor (4) from flywheel housing assembly (5). The following steps are for the installation of the sensor (engine speed).4. Make sure all components of the engine speed sensor are clean of dirt and foreign material prior to installation.5. Check all components for wear or damage and replace if necessary.6. Install engine speed sensor (4) in flywheel housing assembly (5). Tighten engine speed sensor (4) to a torque of 25 5 N m (18 4 lb ft).7. Connect wire harness (3) at the electrical connection.
