Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil and Filter - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Remove engine oil level sensor (1) and disconnect hose (2).

Disconnect hose (3).
Remove bolts (4) and oil pan cover (5). Note: Note the position of oil pan cover (5) for reinstallation.

Remove bolts (6) and oil pan section (7)
Position a suitable lifting device under engine oil pan assembly (9). The weight of engine oil pan assembly is approximately 58 kg (128 lb).
Remove bolts (8), engine oil pan assembly (9) and the gasket.

Remove bolts (10) and separate engine oil pan assembly (9). Installation Procedure
Install engine oil pan assembly (9) in the reverse order of removal. Note: Make sure that all surfaces are free of containments. Trim excess gasket material from the gasket engine oil pan assembly (9).

Apply Tooling (A) to Locations (X) and over the ball and socket joints of gasket (11). Note: Illustration 5 shows the tightening sequence for bolts (8). The directional arrow is pointing towards the front housing.
Tighten bolts (8) using the above sequence to a torque of 47 9 N m (35 7 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (8) again using the above sequence to a torque of 47 9 N m (35 7 lb ft).
Tighten engine oil level sensor (1) to a torque of 25 1 N m (221 9 lb in).
