Throttle lock pressure switch (2) is located under the operator compartment on service brake control valve (3) .When throttle lock control (1) is activated, an electrical signal is sent to the control for the tractor engine. The control for the tractor engine will then lock the throttle of the tractor at the desired engine speed. Also, the control for the tractor engine will then send an electric signal to the control for the scraper engine. The control for the scraper engine will lock the throttle of the scraper engine at the desired speed.When throttle lock control (1) is pushed to the OFF position, the throttle lock control sends a signal to the control for the tractor engine. The control for the tractor engine will then send a signal to the control for the scraper engine in order to deactivate the throttle lock, if equipped. The throttle lock can also be deactivated by pressing the brake pedal.
