Remove the following parts from the old fast fill fuel adapter. Refer to Illustration 1 and Table 1.

Dimensions in millimeters Refer to Illustration 3, Illustration 4, and Table 3 in order to complete the following operations. (9) Fabricate six plates (9) as shown in Illustration 4. Weld three plates in the location on both sides of the radiator guard. (10) Drill four 13.8 mm (0.543 inch) holes on each side of the radiator guard. (11) Spot weld four nuts on the radiator guard. (12) Cut out one 83 mm (3.27 inch) by 108 mm (4.25 inch) elongated hole on both sides of the radiator guard.
