4. Remove pin (2). Remove two bolts (1) and actuator (3).5. Remove retaining ring (4) and adjuster (3).6. Remove the washer that was behind adjuster (3). The following steps are for the installation of the parking brake adjuster.7. Install the washer on the splined shaft that was removed in Step 6.8. Install the hydraulic line on the actuator and apply pressure to the actuator [13,100 kPa 350 kPa (1900 50 psi)].9. Thread yoke (6) fully onto the actuator rod.10. Put the adjuster in position on the brake spline to allow placement of pin (2) through the rod end and adjuster (3). Be sure adjuster adjustment nut (7) is facing the actuator.11. Install retaining ring (4) on the brake spline shaft.12. Install the cotter pin in pin (2).13. Tighten jam nut (5) against the rod end.14. Slide the brake caliper to the rear of the machine until the piston side pad is in contact with the disk. Use the adjustment nut to obtain 1 to 1.5 mm of clearance between the disk and lining material on the rear side. This measurement must be made at the center of the lining.15. Apply the brake by releasing the pressure on the actuator. Apply pressure to the actuator and check the clearance again. Adjust as necessary to maintain 1 to 1.5 mm of clearance.16. Using the parking brake, make five successive stops from third forward at maximum speed. Let the brake disk cool to room temperature.17. Repeat Steps 14 and 15.18.
