Introduction
This Special Instruction provides the rework procedure for installing new mounting plates for the Cab Rollover Protective Structure (ROPS).Important Safety Information
Do not perform any procedure in this special instruction until you have read this special instruction and you understand this information. Use only proper tools and observe all precautions that pertain to the use of those tools. Failure to follow these procedures can result in personal injury. Be sure the hoist or jack has the correct capacity to lift a component. Install blocks or stands before performance of any work under a heavy component.Approximate weights of the components are shown. Clean all surfaces where parts are to be installed.

(A) 16.4 mm (0.646 inch)
Clean surface of old weld section (B) and around the foot base area, so that new weld will be efficient.
Remove 3.0 to 5.0 mm (0.12 to 0.20 inch) from foot base area (B) to the bottom of dimension (A).
Assemble both U-shaped plate (1) and plate (2) with bolts.

Lower cab and install cab pins (D).Note: Ensure that both pins have clearance. If not, clean bores and pin holes thoroughly.
