992D (7MJ1-Up) Wheel LoadersDescription of Change: New cartridge pins are now being used in the 1V-5971 Bucket Control Group (Standard) and 7V-0584 Bucket Control Group (Hi-Lift). The new cartridge pins have better bushing end finish and are phosphate coated. These improvements will reduce pin wear. Adaptable To: In the 1V-5971 Bucket Control Group, the new 7I-4184 Cartridge Pin Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 3V-0868 Cartridge Pin Assembly, while the new 7I-4183 Cartridge Pin Assembly replaces the former 3V-0867 Cartridge Pin Assembly. In the 7V-0584 Bucket Control Group, the new 7I-4183 Cartridge Pin Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 3V-0867 Cartridge Pin Assembly.
This change is effective with the 992D (7MJ-161) Wheel Loader. The change is also adaptable to the 992D (7MJ1-Up), 992D Hi-Lift (7MJ1-Up), and 992C Standard/Hi-Lift (49Z1-Up) Wheel Loaders.
