The transmission may shift from 2nd to 3rd gear when a reverse to forward directional shift is made while in auto mode. Depending on transmission output speed, the transmission may then down shift to 2nd gear.Solution:
The solution to this problem will be a software change to modify the shift logic in the transmission control. This fix will result in a down shift into 2nd gear whenever a reverse to forward directional shift is made in automatic mode.
