For AP-1000B and BG-260C Asphalt Pavers that are equipped with the Front Wheel Assist option, there have been a few reports where the front wheel assist would not come on.Solution:
Activation of the front wheel assist is determined by the position of the traction assist switch (must be ON), the gear switch in LOW and speed lever FORWARD. The brake pedal must also be fully returned. On some machines it has been found that the pedal position was found to be partially depressed, which would not allow the front wheel assist feature to be activated.
