1. Turn the disconnect switch to the "OFF" position.2. Lift both hoods, and hold them in position with the hood locks.3. Lower the center section of the crankcase guard.4. Remove cables (1) and (2) and wire (3) from the electric starting motor. 5. Fasten a hoist to the electric starting motor. Remove bolts (4). Lower electric starting motor (5) out through the bottom. The weight is 75 lb. (34 kg).Install Electric Starting Motor
1. Fasten a hoist to the electric starting motor. Put motor (1) into position in the flywheel housing. Install bolts (5). Remove the hoist from the electric starting motor. 2. Connect wire (4) and cables (2) and (3) to their correct location on the motor.3. Install the crankcase guard.4. Lower both hoods.
