General Information
The axle and the drum on the machines are hydrostatically driven. The drive system consists of the following components:
A piston type pump with two rotating groups in one housing
A two-speed piston type motor on the drum
A planetary gear reducer with an integral spring applied, hydraulically released brake on the drum
A two-speed piston type motor on the axle
An axle with a limited slip differential
A planetary gear reducer with a spring applied, hydraulically released brake for each wheelThe steering pump and fan pump supply charge oil to the propel system.

Drum speed sensor (9)Machine ECM (1) evaluates the input signals and determines if any output signals should be sent to the solenoids.Machine ECM (1) uses display (10) to provide information to the operator about the propel system during operation. If propel lever (7) is operating in the REVERSE range, the machine ECM sends a signal to back up alarm relay (3). If the speed range is set to high, the machine ECM sends a signal to shift solenoid (2).
