Remove all dirt, rust, paint, grease or water on all areas where the mounting brackets make contact with the main frame and the canopy.910B
(1) Install 6S9582 Rail (1) to the top of the canopy with screws, washers, lockwashers and nuts. Install 5P6875 Mirror (2) with bolts and washers. Install 6D6812 Knob Assembly (3) at the location shown [both sides]. (2) Remove all paint from the canopy mounting brackets and the sides of the frame. Lift the canopy into place and make alignment of the holes in the mounting brackets with the holes in the frame. (3) Install shims (4) as necessary, divided evenly on both sides. Install twelve 1D4639 Bolts (5) with washers at the bolt head and under the nuts. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 1200 125 N m (885 90 lb.ft.). Install the seat belt. Use an 8K9002 Seat Belt Assembly with a suspension seat.D3B
(1) Install 5G178 Plate (1) with four 2A1538 Bolts, lockwashers and nuts at location (A) and two S1587 Bolts, lockwasher and nuts at location (B) [both sides]. Install 5G518 Bracket (2) on the left side and 5G517 Bracket on the right side with four 1D4608 Bolts, lockwashers and nuts [each side]. Tighten all bolts to standard torque. (2) Install brackets (3) and (4) on the rear of the tractor, but do not tighten bolts (5), (6) and (7) at this time. CAUTION: Be sure to install 1D4630 Bolts (5), S1973 Bolts (6), 1D4627 Bolts (7) and 9H1031 Washers with a thread sealant that does get hard. (3) Install four 8P2575 Bushings (8) [two each side] in the canopy rear post as shown. Lift the canopy in place and lower onto brackets (3) and (4). Install one 5F9338 Bolt (9) with a 1B4333 Nut and 3B4516 Lockwasher [both sides]. Do not tighten the bolts at this time. (4) Install four 8P2575 Bushings (10) [two each side] in the canopy front post as shown. Lower the canopy and install one 5G450 Cap (11) with one 5B5473 Bolt (12) and 3B4516 Lockwasher. Install two 1D4616 Bolts (13) and 3B4512 Lockwashers with 6S9814 Shims (14) as necessary, divided evenly on both sides of the machine. All bolts can now be tightened to the standard torque specifications. (5) Install 5P6875 Mirror (15) with 1D4677 Bolt (16), 4M6921 Washer (17), 4B4278 Washer (18) and 6P6812 Knob Assembly (19) [both sides]. At the upper right side of the canopy, install 6V1325 Plate (20) with four 7B3028 Drive Screws. Install all grab irons and the seat belt. Use an 8K9002 Seat Belt Assembly with a suspension seat.931B
(1) Use the same procedure for the 931B that is given for the D3B, except that plates (1) and brackets (2), used on the D3B, are not needed.
