PROBLEM
There were some 10R4134 short blocks, 10R4139 short blocks, 10R4144 long blocks, and 10R4145 long blocks that were potentially assembled with the wrong crankshaft.
ACTION REQUIRED
Return all 10R4134 short blocks, 10R4139 short blocks, 10R4144 long blocks, and 10R4145 long blocks that fall within the date code range of 062106 through 091506 (June 21, 2006 through September 15, 2006). The format for the date code on the box is MMDDYY. The date code will be listed on the outside of the box. A representative example is shown below.
