Disconnect harness assembly (3). Remove solenoid valve assembly (2).

Remove gasket (4).

Disconnect harness assembly (3). Cut all cable straps for harness assembly (3). Remove clamp assembly (5) from the bracket.

Remove bolt (13) and yoke assembly (14).

Attach Tooling (B) to torque converter housing (15) at three evenly spaced positions. Attach Tooling (C) to Tooling (C) in the location shown in order to adjust the level of torque converter housing (15) during removal. Attach a suitable lifting device to the remaining Tooling (B) locations. The weight of torque converter housing (15) is approximately 306 kg (674 lb).

Remove bolts (16). Install Tooling (D) in two holes (X). Use Tooling (D) to separate torque converter housing (15) and housing (17).
Use Tooling (C) and the suitable lifting device installed in Step 16 to remove torque converter housing (15).
