Remove O-ring seal (13) and port plate (14) from head assembly (12).
Remove bearing cup (15) from head assembly (12) if necessary.

Remove bearing cone (16) from shaft assembly (17).
Remove O-ring seals (18), and shim (19) from shaft assembly (17).

Carefully place main drive pump housing (3) in a horizontal position.
Remove rotary group (20) from main drive pump housing (3).

Remove retaining plate (21) and pistons (22) from barrel assembly (24). Remove retaining ball (23).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press in order to compress spring (28) until retaining ring (25) can be removed from barrel assembly (24). Slowly release the pressure on the suitable press. Remove spring (28), retaining disc (27), and pressure pins (26).

Remove plug (29) and the O-ring seal.

Remove shaft assembly (17) and spring (33).

Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press in order to remove bearing cone (34) from shaft assembly (17).

Remove screws (35) and bearings (36).
Remove bearing cup (37) if necessary.
