A new 375-4546 Tank equipped with a 374-8283 Magnet As is now available. For the parts required and installation, refer to Service Magazine, SEPD1776, "Hydraulic System Filtration Improvements for 988G and Certain 988H Wheel Loaders". This new shunt tank and magnet is adaptable and effective in production with machines listed in Table 1.

Add the oil filter to the oil cooler circuit. Refer Special Instruction , REHS5427, "Procedure to Add a Filter to the Oil Cooler Circuit on Certain 988H Wheel Loaders" to install the new filter to the oil cooler circuit.
