Remove the front and top covers (1, 2) on the disconnect box.

(3) Tether & service port connector
Remove the tether & service port connector (3). Retain the hardware.

Main disconnect switch discarded from disconnect box
Remove and discard the main disconnect switch. Note: Make sure that the cabling and wiring inside of the box is cleared from behind tether & service port connector area.
Reinstall the top cover.
Install the 468-8651 Plate so it is flush against the top and side of the top cover.

Use the tether hardware to hold the 468-8651 Plate in place. Refer to Illustration 4.

With the 468-8651 Plate flush against the top and the side of the top cover, drill the 9 mm (0.35 inch) mounting holes.
Install two 8T-7547 Bolts and two 344-5674 Nuts to secure the 468-8651 Plate to the box.

Use the metal hole saw to drill a 85 mm (3.35 inch) hole. Note: Make sure that the cabling and wiring inside the box is cleared from this area.

Remove the mounting hardware, 468-8651 Plate, and the top cover from the disconnect box

(4) 430-5165 Disconnect Switch
(5) 8T-7547 Bolts, 8T-4224 Hard Washers, 344-5674 Nuts
Mount the new 430-5165 Disconnect Switch (4) using two 8T-7547 Bolts, four 8T-4224 Hard Washers, and two 344-5674 Nuts (5).

Install the new 485-9605 Film, and 485-9606 Film (6)

Bridge terminals
Remove the four nuts on the back of the disconnect switch, and place the two 467-5980 Bus Bars onto the switch.
Drill out the ground cable terminals to 12 mm (0.47 inch) holes, and install the cables.
Install all the four nuts. Final torque the nuts to 20 2 N m (177.02 17.7 lb in).

Clean all metal filings out of the box.

Verify that there are no cables contacting the top cover or the housing.
Reinstall the service port and tether.
Reinstall the top and front cover.
Verify the operation.
