When new frequency transmitters are purchased for replacement in the MMS, they must be reconfigured for the proper frequency range.
Procedure To Reconfigure The 115-7954 Frequency Transmitter

Inserting the screwdriver too far may damage the internal circuit boards. Insert the screwdriver only far enough to pry apart the two halves of the case.1. Separate the two halves of the frequency transmitter case. See Illustration 1. Use a screwdriver with a thin blade to carefully pry between the two halves, at the areas indicated by the arrows. Work evenly around the perimeter of the case to gradually separate the two halves until they come apart.

If the jumper is not in position "H", remove the jumper by pulling the jumper straight off the pins. Push the jumper onto pins "H".4. Make sure that the board connection pins (Y) are matched correctly. Then carefully assemble the output board (2) to the input board (1). Press the boards together until the connection pins are fully seated.5. Install the two halves of the frequency transmitter case.6. Follow the procedure "Testing And Calibrating A Frequency Transmitter" in the Reference document (SEBU7134).
