Servicing/Assembly Instructions
Proper installation of sprocket segments is critical in preventing segment loosening and subsequent loss/damage to other parts. Install segments using the following guidelines:
Lubricate the bolt threads with 5P3931 Anti-Seizure Compound.
Make sure the washer is against the final drive hub (not segment).
Tighten all bolts to the following:
D6R/H: 175 Nm +/- 40 Nm (130 lb ft +/- 30 lb ft)
D7R/H, D8R/N: 300 Nm +/- 50 Nm (220 lb ft +/- 40 lb ft)
D9R/N: 650 Nm +/- 70 Nm (480 lb ft +/- 50 lb ft)
D10R/N: 870 Nm +/- 70 Nm (650 lb ft +/- 50 lb ft)
Then tighten an additional 1/3 turn. This stretches the bolt properly for good retention.
5. The ?Scallop? under each tooth and the part number can positively identify the tough steel segments. This is visible when observing
sprocket segments mounted on the machine ? see below.

Due to a large inventory of the current D9R standard sprocket segment 173-0949, a price reduction of 15% has been made of the segment to exhaust parts.
Custom Track Service (CTS)
When performing Custom Track Service (CTS), refer to the D6R/H, D7R/H, D8R/N, D9R/N and D10R/N wear charts found in the CTS Handbook 14th Edition (Media Number PEKP9400-02).
