2. Remove relief valve (1) from valve body (2). The following steps are for installation of the steering relief valve.3. Install relief valve (1) into valve body (2). Tighten relief valve (1) to a torque of 65 5 N m (48 4 lb.ft.).4. Fill the steering system hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. Start By:a. remove steering relief valve. 1. Remove O-rings (7) and (10).2. Remove cap (1) and gasket (14).3. Remove nut (2), gasket (3), and setscrew (13).4. Remove plug (4). Remove O-ring (12) from plug (4).5. Remove two washers (5), spring (6), plate (8), and valve (9) from body (11). The following steps are for assembly of the steering relief valve.6. Install valve (9), plate (8), spring (6), and two washers (5) into body (11).7. Install O-ring (12) on plug (4). Install plug (4).8. Install setscrew (13), gasket (3), and nut (2). Tighten nut (2) to a torque of 25 7 N m (18 5 lb.ft.).9. Install gasket (14) and cap (1). Tighten cap (1) to a torque of 12 4 N m (9 3 lb.ft.).10. Install O-rings (7) and (10).
