1. Fasten a hoist and two nylon straps to rear axle stabilizer rod (2).2. Disconnect two lubrication lines (1). Remove the bolts, nuts (4) and washers (3) from each end of the stabilizer rod. 3. Remove pins (6) from each end of the stabilizer rod. Remove rear axle stabilizer rod (2) from the machine. The weight of the rear axle stabilizer rod is 151 kg (334 lb.).4. If necessary, remove two rings (5) from each end of the stabilizer rod. Use a press and tool (A) to remove bearings (7) from the stabilizer rod. The following steps are for installation of the rear axle stabilizer rod.5. If bearings (7) were removed from the stabilizer rod, put one ring (5) in position in the rear axle stabilizer rod.6. Use tooling (A) and a press, and install bearing (7) in the stabilizer rod until it seats against ring (5). Install the remaining ring (5).7. Fasten a hoist and two nylon straps to rear axle stabilizer rod (2). Put the stabilizer rod in position, and install two pins (6).8. Put washers (3) in position on each end of the pins, and install the bolts and nuts (4).9. Connect two lubrication lines (1).
