(1) Blade control pedalThe blade control pedal (1) is on the floor of the operator platform, on the right side of the steering console. This pedal controls the operation of the blade.Blade control pedal (1) is connected to the blade control valve through a mechanical linkage. The blade control pedal has four positions. The top of the pedal controls the lower and the float conditions of the blade. When the operator depresses the top of the pedal, the blade lowers. If the top of the pedal is depressed fully, the blade enters the float-detent position. In this position, the blade follows the contour of the ground. When the operator depresses the bottom of the pedal, the blade lifts. The pedal is spring-centered to the hold position from the lower position and the lift position. The blade control pedal must be removed from the float-detent position physically.
