Flash the engine with the applicable software in Table 3. The software can be used in units that are identified with higher system pressure or with lower system pressure. The software is adaptable back to the first production of the listed engines. Verification of the proper software can also be accomplished through the Service Information System.

The existing 286-2531 Fuel Transfer Pump Gp can be updated to the higher system pressure 331-3635 Fuel Transfer Pump Gp by installing a 339-4983 Spring Kit .
Remove the fuel transfer pump.
Remove the old spring kit from the fuel transfer pump. Install the 339-4983 Spring Kit .
Replace the 228-7381 Check Valve Gp with the 327-4448 Check Valve Gp .
Reinstall the fuel transfer pump and lines.
Mark the fuel transfer pump in order to indicate that the fuel transfer pump has been updated.Note: After the installation is complete, ensure that the fuel lines are installed properly. Ensure that the fuel lines are not touching other lines or components.
